Assessment

We offer a wide variety of assessments including handwriting, movement, and attention based assessments, assessments of the home and equipment and assessments for children within the autistic spectrum.

Treatment

We are able to treat a variety of difficulties and conditions, including sensory integration, fine and gross motor improvement therapy, handwriting improvement therapy and concentration and memory improvement therapy. We can offer these treatments at home, in clinic or in school and in a one to one or group basis.

Reports

Following an assessment, a written report is available upon request. The purpose of the report can be for a second opinion, as a written document for future reference or as part of supportive evidence in a court-case (medico-legal).

Problems we help

Occupational therapists can help your child with a whole range of problems, providing assessment and treatment at home, in school or in one of our clinics. We work with children of all ages, conditions and ethnic backgrounds. Some of the common problems that we work with are:

This is not an exclusive list, and as an occupational therapist, we are able to address many issues that your child may be experiencing. It is often common for children to just be considered as behind in class, or the class clown when in actual fact there may be some underlying difficulties which need to be addressed
